This elegant piece reflects the time in the wilderness when GOD commanded Moses to build the Mishkan (tabernacle), and place specific pieces of furniture and articles in it. In the Holy of Holies, the innermost part of the tabernacle, Moses was commanded to place the Arc of the Covenant. God then instructed him to place inside the Arc the Ten Commandments, two pieces of manna, and the rod of Aaron. Once a year the High Priest would make two trips into the Holy of Holies on the Day of Atonement. First to atone for his own sin and again to atone for Israel's sin. On these two trips he would take the alter of incense with him inside the Holy of Holies, and here he would meet with the ever present power of the spirit of the LORD as it came in a pillar of fire down onto the mercy seat between the two cherubims.

This clock measures approximately 9" wide by 16" high, Battery not included.
