Don Cole's John 17:4 in Greek with our Quality Control Department!
Shalom Don, We are all here on this fine day working our little hearts off. Ok Don here is the Final Plaque engraved. The actual color is more closely to actual in the smaller pictures taken in the day light. This final was taken this evening indoors with artificial lighting. Below are pictures of the Golden Sycamore blank with nothing on it, and pictures of the guys in our quality control department inspecting the Sycamore blank before it goes to final lasering!!!!!! I think you will get a kick out of these so I will describe them one at a time for your viewing pleasure. I'm sure you will get a chuckle. First picture in the center screen is the Sycamore blank with the Greek lettering overlaid on it for look and size purposes. The first picture down below it is just the blank it self. I can orient it either way, with the light coloring up or down, prior to engraving. The second picture down below is one of our Quality Control Inspectors. We call him Nuts because he is always running around and never at his desk when we need him. None the less he inspected the Sycamore plaque and after wards he approved it, but said that the place has totally gone to the birds!!!! The third picture is that of one of our other Quality Control Inspectors. We gave this guy the job because as it turns out, his eyesight is extreamly fine as you will see. He can spot a flaw in something a mile away. So in this first picture he is looking at the back side of the plaque for hidden flaws just to make sure we did not use a piece of wood that was better on the front than the back. In the fourth picture he is eyeballing the top edge of the plaque to make absolutly sure that the edges are perfectly straight!!!! And Finally in the fifth picture he is checking out the flatness of the surface on the front to make sure it is absolutly, perfectly, without a flaw, FLAT!!!!!!!!!!! Well as it turns out, he approved the plaque for lasering and told me I could show it to you before we do. So I pray that this will add a little joy to your day and give you something to ponder in the Great Creation of things that the LORD has made, for it is all "Fearfully and Wonderfully made".
