Prophetic Psalm for Peace to God's people!
This beautiful Psalm 29 speaks to the glory of the LORD's voice in many different ways, but probably the most powerful thing it states is in the last verse of the Psalm. ""The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with PEACE."" What a perfect companion Psalm to Psalm 122 for times like these. As we watch GOD's word unfold in the middle east consider the power to these verses and their meanings. For instance, as I am writing these words we see Israel bombing the dickens out of southern Lebanon - hence - " the LORD breaketh the ceders of Lebanon." We see in the midst of this battle heating up, Syria and Iran about to possibly join this tension with Israel - hence - "The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire". Finally we see the ultimate outcome of this whole scenario no matter how it all comes down in what ever order. "The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace." What a beautiful outcome for mankind.
